Housekeeping
Gently nestled amongst beautiful rolling Hampshire countryside, in the historic village of Roman Silchester, our family farm is a completely new wedding and events venue in Hampshire, and one not quite like any other.
Silchester Farm is a beautiful, newly launched barn wedding and events venue. It consists of a collection of charming old oak framed barns which have been carefully restored and stylishly refurbished to provide an unrivaled, unique and refreshingly contemporary venue for weddings and events that can comfortably host up to 140 guests, with on site accommodation sleeping 47 across the luxury lodgings.
Key responsibilities:
Cleaning all areas of Silchester Farm on a daily basis with a deep clean following a wedding or event. Inclusive of the events spaces, accommodation, prep areas and staff working spaces.
Servicing the accommodation including stripping and making beds, cleaning bathrooms and replenishing toiletries.
Replenishing in house amenities and room checks.
Ensuring the external areas are clean and tidy for any weddings, events or visitors.
General maintenance of the venue including window cleaning, polishing, etc.
Stock taking of all venue and cleaning supplies and ensuring replacements have been ordered when required.
Assisting with delivery of breakfast and in house accommodation catering.
Maintaining in house facilities and ensuring all areas of the venue are set and ready for overnight stays, day and evening hire.
Oversight of all spaces ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and overall attention to detail across indoor and outdoor areas.

Sous Chef
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate and energetic Sous Chef to join our growing kitchen team at Silchester Farm. Working alongside our Head Chef, you’ll help deliver exceptional food across weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, our Farm Shop and wider estate.
Key responsibilities
Preparation and service across event and non-event days
Supporting the Head Chef with menu development and execution
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness
Preparing food for our Farm Shop, Food Truck and event menus
Working closely with the Events and Bar teams
Supporting and developing the wider kitchen team
Knowledge and understanding of allergen procedures
Early breakfast shifts and occasional lone working
Full-time | Typically 32 hours per week | 4–5 days out of 7

Bar Supervisor
We’re looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our front of house team at Silchester Farm. You’ll play an important role in delivering excellent service across our weddings and events, helping create memorable experiences for up to 140 guests in our beautiful countryside setting.
Key responsibilities
Supervising bar service across weddings and events
Serving food and drinks to a consistently high standard
Setting up, running and closing bar areas
Managing stock, glassware and bar cleanliness
Delivering friendly, professional guest service
Working closely with the F&B Duty Manager, FOH and Events teams
Supporting event cover and secure site shut-down procedures
Flexible contract | Average 32 hours per week during peak periods | Evenings & weekends required

Casual Bar & Waiting Staff
We are always looking for enthusiastic and friendly front and back of house staff to join our events team. With private and public events offering a variety of shifts where no two days are the same.
From kitchen to bar, including set up and on the day event assistance - casual hours available to suit the right candidate. An opportunity to work across both the kitchen and bar departments, learning from an experienced and friendly team. Experience in hospitality is a bonus, as we can offer appropriate shifts to suit your experience and skill.
Weekend and late shifts included - candidates must drive due to the nature of the hours and location.
