We can’t wait to welcome you! Dogs are welcome in our bar area; however, they are no longer permitted in the restaurant. Following a recent trial, we have made the decision to keep the dining space dog-free.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast or lunch outside Trough Farm Shop. Graze will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for a hearty selection of breakfast delights, and burgers, or head to Trough Farm and Coffee Shop (open Monday to Sunday) for fresh sandwiches and tempting sweet treats - perfect for a laid-back visit to the farm. Ease into the weekend with our laid-back Fancy Farm Fridays*. Set beneath the Dutch Barn, our Outdoor Kitchen serves up delicious flatbread specials, freshly prepared and perfect for sharing. With the bar open in the Cow Shed and acoustic music creating the perfect atmosphere, it’s an easygoing evening of great food, drinks, and countryside charm. *Dates vary depending on our events.

An intimate summer evening of dining in our Kitchen Garden - arrival from 6.30pm with a welcome drink of English sparkling wine or beer, before sitting down for a five-course feast and seasonal canapés at 7.30pm. Enjoy a thoughtfully curated dinner, celebrating ingredients freshly picked from the Kitchen Garden, allotment and carefully sourced from trusted local suppliers for a truly seasonal countryside dining experience. Trough Farm Shop & Coffee Shop is a relaxed spot to eat, drink and unwind beside Silchester Farm, serving great coffee, freshly made sandwiches, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, homemade bakes and a carefully curated selection of local produce, wines and spirits. With indoor and outdoor seating, as well as the Farmhouse garden, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a little time in the countryside.
