At Silchester Farm, guests are invited to enjoy exclusive access to our outdoor swimming pool and tennis court, perfect for both relaxation and recreation during your stay. Whether you're looking to cool off with a refreshing dip or enjoy a friendly match on the court, these facilities are available for your use throughout your visit. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside, the pool and court offer a peaceful setting to unwind, stay active, and make the most of your time at the farm.
Tennis Court
Court Opening Times:
April to October 10am - 7pm
November to March 11am - 3pm
Rackets and balls are available to be collected from Trough Farm Shop.
Please note the court is accessible to the public for booking, so it is recommended you let us know
in advance so your time slot can be accommodated.
Swimming Pool
Pool Opening Times:
April to October 9am - 8pm*
The pool is unguarded, so children must be supervised at all times.
The Pool can be used once you have checked in and up to your check out time.
*Subject to maintenance. Please note the pool is not open on wedding days and
nor is it accessible to wedding guests. The area will be closed.
Bikes
Fancy a ride around the ruins, or a picnic in the park?
We have 2 bicycles available for hire.
Collect from reception.
All bikes have locks, baskets and helmets.
It is our recommendation that you wear them.
